In February, 2016 Avaya, the solution provider in the field of business communications, presented the multichannel cloud solution for unified communications and contact centers focused on medium business. Cloud solutions of Avaya for medium business are the two options of deployment allowing partners of Avaya to translate such companies to use of the opportunities necessary for digital business. Both options based on Powered by Avaya IP Office and the OnAvaya platform - Google Cloud Platform represent hybrid clouds.


Avaya Midmarket Cloud Solutions constructed on the Avaya IP Office Platform platform is the offer on cloud solutions for unified communications and contact centers focused on medium business in which the same code, as in the solutions set locally is used. It is difficult to revaluate advantages of uniform base of the source code to deployment of hybrid clouds:

  • For partners – it is method to transfer clients to a cloud, proposing the solution in any place where it is required to the client, simplifying integration, as much as possible using knowledge of a product and experience of its use and reducing need of investment into development of employee competences.
  • For final customers – the hybrid cloud constructed based on Avaya IP Office allows to implement opportunities, proceeding from business needs. At the same time it uses already made investments in call management, phones and other. The companies have an opportunity of more effective control of expenses and rates for complete migration in a cloud, along with a possibility of fast moving to new arrangement.

The solutions Avaya Midmarket Cloud Solutions support a range of opportunities for multichannel unified communications and contact centers, the bigger number of operating systems and devices, than any competing cloud offer (web clients of PC and MAC and Chrome OS). And the compatibility of solutions with Avaya Communicator for Web allows to interact with any web application.

  • The solution Partner Powered by Avaya IP Office – now everywhere to well qualified partners who want to set the solution in the selected data center. The solution Partner Powered by Avaya IP underwent control testing at ten channel partners of Avaya and already services several thousands of end consumers in North America and Europe.
  • The OnAvaya platform - Google Cloud Platform – for the beginning of 2016 is available only in the USA. The initial solution presented last spring was expanded so that to simplify its use for the partners who are not locating own infrastructure for the contents and service of a cloud. The platform includes a full range of opportunities for unified communications and a possibility of multichannel contact center now. Many clients, for example, of Diligent Benefits, already service the customers using the OnAvaya platform - Google Cloud Platform.
