A mobile subscription management solution to get devices connected
On-Demand Connectivity provides remote provisioning and mobile subscription management enabling instant broadband connectivity to a wide variety of new connected devices, everywhere, and right out of the box. Addressing the M2M (including connected cars, smart grid, home automation, etc.) and consumer electronics markets (including connected tablets, connected wearable, and all others electronic devices), ODC helps operators and device manufacturers to? offer a seamless and flexible customer mobile subscription management experience throughout the entire lifecycle of a device.?
In February, 2016 Gemalto and Jasper, announced the beginning of partner cooperation with a common goal: simplify global implementation of devices of Internet of Things and services with pull subscription. Integration of the service Jasper IoT platform into the solution Gemalto LinqUs On-Demand Connectivity considerably simplifies implementation of the connected services around the world — for mobile operators, producers of devices and suppliers of applications. Clients can register far off objects and manage subscriptions from the mobile devices by means of one built-in SIM card (eSIM). The result of what is more effective and economic model of implementation, providing fast distribution and activation of devices.
The program of control of pull subscriptions (OSM) from Gemalto and the service platform of Internet of Things from Jasper allow to manage global eSIM-cards, providing to network providers and the enterprises an opportunity to take the following advantages:
- One SIM card for production and distribution in the market. – The enterprises receive benefit from use of one SIM card both for production, and for deployment of a product in all geographical regions, eliminating need for physical card replacement irrespective of the country of destination of the device.
- Global network of telecom operators. ─ With the Jasper platform the global eSIM-card can adapt to local networks of operators worldwide, allowing the enterprises to work based on the Agreement on the service level (SLA) and to use uniform help desk for service and support in networks of several operators.
- Single interface of global transactions. ─ the Command center of Jasper provides general idea about all devices around the world – in networks of numerous mobile operators – including the status and diagnostics of network.
- Automated management of lifecycle. ─ Mobile subscriptions of devices are automatically updated through a wireless channel (OTA) for all lifecycle.
- Local services and plans of use. ─ This integrated solution will provide a full compliance to local standards of communication while the localized tariff plans will give an opportunity to control and predict expenses around the world.
