"Gazpromneft - lubricants" completed a stage of automation of budget management

On February 19, 2016 CORUS Consulting Group announced end of the first stage of the project on automation of budget management in Gazpromneft — Lubricants company. The information system is created on the Oracle Hyperion Planning platform.

Project Task

The customer made the decision on the beginning of the project on implementation of an automated system of budget management at the end of 2014. The project consists of three stages.

Production "Gazpromneft — Lubricants" (2014)

The main objective of the first stage of the project - methodological completion of the operating budget model, its migration on the Oracle Hyperion Planning platform.

Project Results

Accomplishment of this stage helped to transfer model to the uniform corporate chart of accounts, to change approaches to planning and assessment of a financial result, to update the main methodological documents. Changes of budget model within the first stage of the project affected formation of technical and economic indicators, a material balance and the profit and loss statement. A system is successfully integrated into the operating environment of corporate information systems.

During the budget campaign of 2015 in a system the business plan for the next years is created, the management reporting for several reporting periods is prepared.

Based on the first stage of the project we managed to unify processes of business planning for all production sites, to increase analyticity and quality of the management reporting, to create a basis for further development of a system. We note high efficiency of the Oracle Hyperion Planning platform that ideally provides the solution of our tasks and guarantees stable support of scaling of budget model and reporting system of our company, in the conditions of dynamic business development and high rates on an output to the market of new products.
