Navicon visualized logistics for R-Pharm

The Navicon system integrator underwent at the beginning of 2016 audit from specialists of R-Pharm group regarding compliance to requirements for delivery of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) - the critical computerized system. The positive audit report allows Navicon not only to become the contractor of the project on deployment in R-Pharm of a management system for a warehouse complex based on ERP solution Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012, but also confirms quality of work of integrator for all pharmaceutical industry.

R-Pharm is the Russian hi-tech pharmaceutical company. It conducts researches, development, production and an output to the market of the medicines intended, mainly, for application in hospitals and at specialized treatment. Being responsible for supply of key Russian medical institutions with the vital medicines, the company imposes strict requirements to quality of own management, production, products and distributes these obligations to all partners with whom conducts cooperation. In the company the special regulations for work with business partners which mean an exact compliance with law of Russia and, if necessary, foreign countries, high standards of business, protection of interests of both the company, and her partners work.

Specialists of R-Pharm booked audit of business processes in Navicon. During audit the quality management system providing quality of development and deployment of software products based on Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 was comprehensively studied. Auditors checked compliance of Navicon to the requirements stated in such documents as ISO 9001-2008 "Quality Management System", GAMP 5 Good Automated Manufacturing Practice, "Rules of production organization and quality control of medicines" of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation (regarding Application 11). Auditors were also interested in key aspects of a company performance: the system of partnership with Microsoft and other vendors, skill level of employees, the used workflow system, processes connected with product lifecycle (Product Manufacturing Cycles), quality assurance in IT projects.

According to the results of audit of Navicon it is recognized to the meeting main requirements of R-Pharm imposed to business partners.

In 2016 R-Pharm and Navicon are going to start the project on implementation of the module of automation of warehouse logistics of ERP of Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012.

2017

On October 12, 2017 the Navicon company announced business process automation for pharmaceutical company "R-FARM".

Within the project of control automation by business processes of branches of a pharmproizvoditel, in 70 cities are set the ERP system on Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 platform and analytical IT solution on the basis of Microsoft BI technologies. In a system more than 400 employees from 28 departments of customer company work.

The accounting system used earlier in the company ceased to meet requirements of a pharmproizvoditel and standards of pharmaceutical production of GMP and GDP (GAMP 5). It was decided to implement a resource management system of the enterprise (ERP) on Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 platform and the program for the business analysis (BI) based on Microsoft BI technologies. The contractor of the project selected Navicon company.

The implementation project is complete in the first quarter 2017.

Are automated by the implemented ERP solution:

• management of payments,
• expenditure management,
• settlings with suppliers and clients,
• purchases,
• warehouse logistics,
• transport logistics.

A system is integrated from the management reporting working in 1C company for receiving under Russian accounting standards and tax accounting. The operational management reporting is prepared by means of BI with frequency at 3 o'clock.

According to the results of implementation the company received the instrument of accounting and control of resources of the enterprise corresponding to features of the pharmaceutical industry:

• participation in tenders,
• need to control the maximum allowed margins on medicines.

In a logistic part are automated:

• zoning of warehouses
• maintenance of temperature conditions,
• control of the park of motor transport.

A system and processes of an inventory control underwent internal audit of "R-FARM" on compliance to the GAMP 5 standard.

The BI solution on the Microsoft Analysis Services platform is developed for fall forward and convenience of the analysis of business information in all departments of "R-FARM". Data of ERP are in addition processed in an OLAP cubes or using technology of Microsoft – a tabulyarny data model.

For October 11, 2017 a system works in 70 cities of presence of customer company. A system is involved in work of 28 departments of the company. In a system more than 400 users work.

For the staff of R-FARM sales department resident instruction is organized: groups till 10-20 of people on rates by duration of three days were gathered. Users of a system underwent distance learning and learned to make out in the system of the request for payment, transport requests, to work with BI reports.

2018

At the beginning of 2018 the system integrator and Navicon developer created the automated visual reports for logistic department of R-Pharm pharmaceutical company. Pharmproizvoditel received a set of means for a business intelligence of Microsoft Power BI allowing analysts of R-Pharm to process quickly information on warehouse activity, including data on deliveries and shipments of goods and also about conditions of their storage and transportation.

Management of warehouse and transport logistics in R-Pharm is performed in the ERP system on Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 platform. However the ERP solution intended, first of all, for conducting inventory accounting not completely satisfied to requirements of department of warehouse analytics – information processing and creation of analytical reports were complicated. Therefore it was decided to implement visualization tools for operational formation of the evident reporting.

For project implementation the system integrator Navicon as the checked supplier of IT solutions for a pharmotrasla who underwent validation according to the GMP standards from experts of R-Pharm is selected. During the project specialists of Navicon implemented the tabulyarny Microsoft SSAS model (SQL Server Analysis Services) for consolidation of data from the tables ERP systems and also tool kit of visualization on the Microsoft Power BI platform.
