Comparex helped to optimize the program of licensing in Geropharm

GEROPHARM is engaged in development, production and distribution of pharmaceutical medicines. Representative offices work across all territory of Russia and in 5 foreign countries. The Pharm-Holding research center and biotechnology production GEROPHARM Biot are a part of group.

For several years the company used in a program runtime of Microsoft based on separate purchases of license products. This scheme of acquisition of licenses did not allow to control and manage in complete degree all software of holding. Specialists of COMPAREX suggested to optimize purchase costs by inclusion of all companies of group in one delivery contract of the licensed software. For the choice of an optimal license solution specialists of COMPAREX carried out inventory of all software which showed relevant license balance of the company, percent of the used and not used software. On the basis of the received results the optimal scheme of licensing Microsoft Enterprise Agreement Subscription was offered.

As a result GEROPHARM received the uniform, scalable and flexible contract with a possibility of introduction of new PCs to operation and adding of new affiliates on any of stages of the three-year contract. Besides, the company received advantageous conditions of acquisition on all products of Microsoft, a possibility of use of new versions of basic products and free copies of additional products for carrying out training in the organization; control and accounting of the software became simpler that allowed to lower load of the IT budget.
