The Tekhmash concern implemented an automated system of gas metering

The research and production concern "Tekhmash" of State Corporation Rostec, completed the complex project on implementation of energy saving IT – an automated system of gas metering. Start of an automated system allowed to reduce volumes of consumption of natural gas by 10%.

The automated system of control represents the hardware and software system including metering devices, data communication equipment, the telemetry server, workstations and also a specialized software (databases, means of configuring of the operating system of the server of telemetry, instruments of configuring of the network and communication equipment, the software for interaction with metering equipment and carrying out the automated calculations).

"Improving competitiveness due to upgrade and integration of modern solutions, including and IT infrastructure, for Tekhmash is one of the priority directions. Therefore at the enterprises of our holding more than four years high-tech solutions are implemented. Thanks to implementation of this project we managed to reduce gas consumption by 10% without stopping and production cutbacks, and the accuracy of its accounting was 99.9%", – Sergey Rusakov, the CEO of Tekhmash concern noted.

The pilot project of automation of power management is implemented in Chelyabinsk region based on the JSC Plant of Plastic enterprise entering into Concern. Initially measuring system of gas supply of the enterprise represented accounting sensors based on measurement of a difference of pressure (to the sensor and after it). Process of measurement was connected with hourly removal of all parameters: pressure, temperatures, expense and other indicators. Devices issued charts according to which amounts of the consumed gas were manually calculated. At the same time the difference in values of the settlement consumed amount at the enterprise and at the supplier could reach 20% seasonally and temperature conditions. Besides, regular checking of devices of measurement with a stop of a gas supply and deceleration of production was required.

According to the booked audit, in three last years (2013 - 2015) the enterprise consumed on average 14,051 thousand m3 of gas. Today the similar indicator of the enterprise is about 12,488 thousand m3 that is 10-11% less than the consumed volume of natural gas before implementation of an automated system of power management.

Nsistema on the algorithm put in her independently collects and analyzes information from metering devices, in the automated mode makes calculation of required parameters, issues gas consumption amounts on different sections. All information arrives to operators in real time within a uniform information field.
