GS Group and Petrgu will grow up engineers in the field of instrument making and information science

The network baccalaureate program is directed to education of the engineers having profound practical and theoretical professional knowledge. Within four years the pupils who entered Gusevsky polytechnical technical school after the termination of the 9th class will get an education in the direction of preparation "Applied information science" with a possibility of practical training on productions of the innovation cluster Technopolice GS. Will be trained by the integrated curriculum developed by teachers of technical school together with representatives of the Petrozavodsk state university and GS Group. The second part of the network baccalaureate program for the Instrument Making and Information Science and ADP Equipment directions will pass within two years based on a university campus in Technopolice GS. For this purpose in a cluster the training center will be open, hostels for students and the faculty are built. A part will be trained in a remote form with participation of representatives of Petrgu.

The start of the network baccalaureate GS Group program, the Petrozavodsk state university and Gusevsky polytechnical technical school is planned for the beginning 2016/2017 academic years. Form of education – budget and on a commercial basis. The first group will make 20 people. In six years pupils will master the program of high school of high school, secondary vocational and higher education in the conditions of deep integration of the curriculum with requirements of real production. Thus the program of life-long professional education in demanded technical areas will be implemented. Upon termination of training graduates will be able to continue profile education according to master programs.

The agreement with Petrgu allowed not only to expand partnership with university, but also to increase quantity of the directions of preparation opened in a campus. What, in turn, will attract the bigger number of the interested students from the Kaliningrad region and other regions", – the director of strategic marketing of GS Group Andrey Bezrukov comments.

In 2015 the GS Group holding implemented the first network baccalaureate program based on a university campus in Technopolice GS together with the Baltic federal university of I. Kant, Gusevsky polytechnical technical school and Administration of Mr. Gusev. The first group of students already started training in the program of secondary professional education in the direction of preparation "Information technologies and communication systems". Among partner universities of a campus there are an ITMO University, the Tomsk Polytechnic University, the Brnensky technical university (Brno, the Czech Republic).
