1C: The first BIT St. Petersburg (IT Grad Cloud)

On May 10, 2017 the IT-Grad company announced connection of IaaS-service for placement of resources of office of The First BIT company in Kazakhstan.

Project Tasks

"The first BIT" began expansion on the market of cloud services in the Republic of Kazakhstan. Creating a line of cloud services, the companies were required services of service provider of IaaS.

The company signed the agreement with IT-Grad.

Project Progress

As our company is aimed at providing cloud services in Kazakhstan, we began to look for partners here. Later, when found out that IT-GRAD locates own platform in the territory of RK, it significantly accelerated history of an entry of First BIT into the cloud market. Thus, using capacities of our partner, we undertake implementation of SaaS projects of any complexity. In cooperation with IT-GRAD so far everything is pleasant to us. Of course, there are some difficulties as we become more and more, and together with it growth diseases inevitably develop. Nevertheless we find a common language with technical specialists of IT-GRAD and we do not even think of change of the partner. On the contrary, we see a good opportunity to work with the checked supplier both in Russia, and in Kazakhstan. Nikita Merkudanov, head of office "The First BIT"

2015

The cloud was required for placement of capacities of the Live of Technologies project (enters into structure of First BIT).

For First BIT there was obvious a creation of the cloud direction based on product 1C. The solution was both image, and far-sighted – an opportunity to make use of the accumulated long-term experience in the new direction. Besides the rare person in Russia needs to explain what is 1C and in what advantages of a system. And SaaS products is difficult to find similar flexibility of a configuration in highly specialized.

At a project startup the command of First BIT considered the mass of options with purchase and lease of iron. The choice fell on IaaS. The perspective of lease of capacities looked the most sensible if to take into account that core business of the company consists in software development. Administration of servers and creation of failsafe DPCs is not a profile of the company any more, and it is better to delegate similar questions to someone else. Be focused on business, and to entrust minor tasks of service.

The project started not at domestic capacities, and based on the American and English providers. Then they had technologies more mature, and our domestic business actively aimed to be placed somewhere far away – from here and such choice. However, if 5 years ago business generally required that data were NE in Russia, then in the last few years everything is exactly the opposite.

From the middle of 2015 all resources of the project were transferred to an IaaS-cloud of IT-GRAD.
