Choosing a Solution

The management of the Russian branch of BEKO company made the decision on need of implementation of a modern full-function warehouse management system (WMS), for replacement of the current technology based on the accounting system. To the WMS solution were shown in addition to requirements of reliability, rich functionality which is worked out documentation, existence of support of multilingualism. From a set of the solutions presented at the Russian market on a ratio the price, quality, experience of a project team by BEKO company the decision for benefit of the warehouse management system OHE.WMS was made.

Technology of implementation of WMS

The WMS project was implemented in record time in 5 main stages in 2 months.

Start technique in operation

Before start training of a project team of the Customer and end users was provided. Trainings for managers are provided. Test operation of a system on an object is carried out.

According to the results of carrying out test operation the decision on start of operation of a system was made.

Within 4 days inventory of a warehouse is executed and commercial operation of the warehouse management system OHE.WMS is begun

Features of project implementation of WMS

• Acceptance and placement of goods

Basic processes of goods acceptance on a warehouse are implemented. Search algorithms of store cells and selection are configured.

• Complete set of orders. Weight control and dimensions for transport company

The complete set of orders is separated into a complete set in the storage area (Rack storage system) and in a mezzanine zone (2 floors shelf storage system).

After the end of assembly of the order the goods move to a zone of ready orders where the container for packaging is selected. The weight and dimensions of a container are automatically fixed in a system. The warehouse management system allows to create the mixed cargo places from several orders of one client.

After completion of selection the OHE.WMS system automatically sends by e-mail the packing list with contents of the selected order to the Client.

• Run formation

In the OHE.WMS system the functional module allowing to create run (route) of shipment is implemented, integrating orders by different criteria.

The manager of shipment creates Run, integrating orders of one consignee and one point of delivery. After making decision on readiness of Run for shipment, the OHE.WMS system automatically sends information on route parts to the responsible person by e-mail.

• Module of mailing of messages and monitoring of critical actions

At system implementation of management of a warehouse of the Customer the task of ensuring steady and operational informing responsibles of Clients and Beko company, about the statuses of accomplishment of orders was set.

According to requirements of the Customer, based on the module of service of notifications OHE.WMS the scheme of automatic mailing of packing lists of the order to end customers was configured. For mailing of messages for each Client the e-mail addresses of the responsible persons providing control of receiving a load are set.

Using this module, the staff of Beko company, had not only an opportunity of operational informing consignees on the status of the order, but also an opportunity quickly and conveniently to obtain information on emergence of ultimate loads on a system and incorrect work of users. What finally is the next step for improvement of quality of system operation.

• Support by the system of several languages

One of the reasons of the choice of the warehouse management system OHE.WMS and ConsID Technologies company as the supplier of the solution were the openness and flexibility, both a system, and approaches to the solution of assigned tasks.

So at a stage of implementation of the project, the Beko company set the task, about need of support by a warehouse management system of several languages of localization of a system. The corporate requirement of the international company is in addition to localization in Russian, also existence of localization in English. The ConsID Technologies company moved towards wishes of BEKO company and in a short space of time implemented support of several languages in a warehouse management system.

• Integration with SAP

Integration of a system of SAP with OHE.WMS based on web of services. The full range of integration of the OHE.WMS and SAP system is carried out: loading of the reference book of goods, loading of the reference book of partners, loading of orders for arrival, expense and runs, loading.
