CVD.Spark

Company

width=200px

CVD.Spark was founded within the Tekhnospark nanocenter in 2012, then it became the resident of a nuclear cluster of the innovation center "Skolkovo". Scientists from Institute of the general physics of RAS who were engaged in cultivation of artificial diamonds using CVD technology earlier – chemical deposition of crystals from a gas phase participated in creation of the company. The company does both monocrystals, and polycrystalline diamonds for any applications, including for optics.

The CVD.Spark company – the technology company of the Troitsk nanocenter "Tekhnospark" – for the first time in Russia publicly provided commercial samples of diamond optics which are steady against extreme influences in 2016 and at the same time have fine optical characteristics.

Use of diamonds is opened by new opportunities for the optical industry. Diamond optical elements work at sharp temperature drops, in aggressive chemical environment, under the influence of powerful laser radiation, and at the same time they do not lose optical characteristics. At the same time diamonds are absolutely chemically inert and can be used in medicine. Besides, the diamond optics has wide transmission range – from infrared radiation to near ultraviolet, and high heat conductivity – it is five times better, than at copper.

Specialists of the company do of artificial diamonds optical windows, optical components for lasers, including infrared, and many other devices.
