With growth of business of the company there was a need for the information system allowing to exercise operational management by the company with own production and the big list of services. The separation of information, lack of instruments of consolidation did not allow to increase reliability of the management reporting. For preserving of the leading positions in the market the company management made the decision on implementation of uniform ERP – the system focused on standard functionality, management accounting, management of material flows and sales, production planning, sale. According to the results of the tender the decision at the heart of the unified information system of Talosto Ltd to use the SAP product ERP was made. The Ciber Novasoft company became the contractor of the project.

The project started in May, 2006, and in a year, in May, 2007, a system was successful is implemented. As a result of implementation Talosto Ltd received reliability of the management reporting that positively affected satisfaction of owners. Already by the end of 2007 it was succeeded to optimize raw-material storages and to reduce stocks more than by 15%. The positive effect from implementation was observed also in technical area: the number of addresses of users concerning failures and incorrect work of corporate systems was reduced much. At the moment in the unified information system about 200 employees of the company work.
