Rostelecom: Mobile device management

Mobile device management - a technology product for mobile device management (Mobile Device Management).

On February 29, 2016 the Rostelecom company announced input in commercial operation of the solution on mobile device management - "Mobile device management"^[1]. The product is focused on the average and large organizations, the state customers.

In composition a set of the services and technologies providing secure access from mobile devices to internal information resources of the organization, irrespective of the telecom operator used by the client — mobile or fixed, the press service of operator stated.

Employees of the client will have the accessibility to corporate resources:

• e-mail,
• calendar,
• address directory,
• internal and external data warehouses (including cloud),
• corporate portal and intranet website,
• the specialized software of the organization placed in the protected MDM environment.

"Mobile device management" gives the chance:

• to configure independently gadgets of employees by a set of settings and their combinations,
• change the set of applications
• distribution of the application by means of corporate app store,
• set certificates,
• limit functions, available on the device,
• block, and in whole or in part to clean the device from data in case of its loss or violation by the employee of the set security policies.

The product is unrolled on the National cloud platform.
