Stack Group protected the website of Russian Orthodox Church from DDoS attacks

The official site of the Russian Orthodox Church (ROC) is protected from DDoS attacks by the solution which is provided by Stack Group company. In March, 2016 announced this CNews in Stack Group.

According to the company, in Russia the number of DDoS attacks increased by 100% in 2015 in comparison with 2014. According to Qrator Labs and Wallarm, in 84% of cases alternation of DDoS attacks and attempts of cracking of the websites is observed. At DDoS attack there is a distributed attack on the computing system of the organization to finish it to the full. In that case legal users of a system cannot get access to the provided web resources, or this access is complicated.

For ensuring the guaranteed availability to the website of ROC at the level of 95-99.5% all traffic of this resource passes through network of cleaning of traffic now. Stack Group provided protection of a resource at the transport and network levels where there is filtering and the analysis of the incoming traffic, blocking of the IP addresses and also report generation about incidents, noted in the company.
