Comparex became the supplier of licenses of Microsoft for Rosgeo holding

The Russian geological holding "Rosgeo" signed with COMPAREX company the agreement on delivery of the software of Microsoft on the program of corporate licensing Enterprise Agreement (EA). Thanks to the signed contract the holding licensed all computer park and optimized software purchase costs.

Rosgeo is the most large-scale prospecting company in Russia performing a full range of the services connected with geological exploration.

The Rosgeo joint-stock company as the largest company, imposes high requirements to standards of equipment of the enterprise kompyyuteny technologies and also legal purity of the used software. In the work the company uses the software of Microsoft, acquisition of this software took place as one-time purchases under the agreement of Microsoft Open License. In the conditions of a geographically-distributed structure of the enterprises of holding for all federal districts of Russia this approach to purchases of licenses was labor-consuming and inefficient in terms of distribution of the budget to software. In this connection the IT management of holding made the decision to unify purchase of the software of Microsoft.

Based on an open competition in which six partners participated the COMPAREX company won, having offered the customer model of corporate licensing Microsoft Enterprise Agreement. Long-term experience of COMPAREX in the field of licensing of Microsoft and the highest partner status LSP allowed to offer to the customer optimal conditions of acquisition of licenses within the agreement of Enterprise Agreement.

This agreement helped holding to solve the current problems of licensing in all company including regional representative offices, to optimize the IT budget thanks to payment by installments of payments and fixations of the prices of the entire period of operation of the agreement.
