Serge Kampf was born on October 13, 1934 in Grenoble and in the same place died on March 15 the 2016th. It had two diplomas of identical degree in the field of the right and economy.
1960-2000
Serge Kampf started the career from General directorate of telecommunications in Paris to which it came in 1960. From there it passed into computer company Compagnie des Machines Bull which was renamed afterwards into Bull.
In 1967 Kampf and three his colleagues from Compagnie des Machines Bull founded Sogeti company which after purchase of Sogeti of the French CAP and the American Gemini Computer Systems received the name Cap Gemini Sogeti.
In 1985 Cap Gemini Sogeti went public. Serge Kampf continued to increase presence of this company, having made at least eight acquisitions from 1990 to 2000. Among them there were Hoskyns Group and Ernst & Young Consulting companies.
2012: Departure from the job of Board of Directors of Capgemini
In May, 2012 Serge Kampf resigned as Board of Directors of Cap Gemini after 45 years of the management of the company. At the same time it remained at a position of the vice-chairman of the board.
2016: Death
On March 15, 2016 it became known of Serge Kampf's death. He was 81 years old.
The death of the founder of Capgemini was announced by the press service of the company. Kampf died after a long illness in the native French city of Grenoble.[1]
