In Belkamneft the project on system implementation of maintenance and repair of the equipment came to the end

For 2011 the JSC Belkamneft company achieved record levels on oil production. The company extracted 4,258, 9 thousand tons of oil. In comparison with 2010, growth was 7%. Such increase in volume of production was promoted by more effective and intensive holding modern geological and technical and repair actions by the company, and also due to use of modern IT solutions.
System implementation of maintenance and repair of the equipment (TORO) based on SAP ERP became one of the most important implementations of the company in the field of information technologies for last year. Thus, the company continues to develop the resource management system of the enterprise on the SAP platform existing since 2006, adding to it all new and new modules. Let's remind that in the company at the time of the beginning of the project on implementation of TORO in 2011 modules were implemented: FI (Accounting), CO (Management of cost value - controlling), PS (Project management and investments), MM (Management of material flows), SD (Sales management of products).
The project on system implementation of TORO started in July, 2011 and proceeded till June, 2012. A system was transferred to commercial operation in July, 2012. The contractor of the project selected the consulting company "Parma Telecom" which was already earlier executing in JSC Belkamneft a pilot project on system implementation of SAP ERP and proved as the reliable and highly skilled partner.
Prior to the beginning of the project of work on the cost accounting on maintenance were conducted within the module "Purchase management" (MM) without binding to specific technical maintenance entities. There were serious problems in operational accounting of the equipment, both on places of operation, and on places of temporary storage. Information on the equipment was stored in a separate type and was available only to individual employees. Planning of TORO was conducted without assessment of resources necessary for work. Thus, the project on implementation of TORO in the companies was directed to the solution of the following tasks:
- Creation of the single database on technical places and items of equipment of Society giving the most complete and comprehensive description of all technology objects providing production process;
- Creation of the single system of accounting of existence and control of internal transfers of the oil-field equipment providing full control of existence and technical condition of the equipment;
- Formation of uniform accounting rules of failures, incidents and accidents on all technology objects of Society providing comparability of analytics of failures and increase in technical justification at decision making about need of production of repair work.
- Creation of uniform rules of planning, the accounting and acceptance of works on TORO and control of technical condition allowing to correlate all changes in technical condition of the equipment to costs for maintenance of its proper technical condition.
The project was implemented step by step. At the first stage (July-December, 2011) the project team consisting of consultants Parma Telecom and employees of production divisions and management of information technologies of JSC Belkamneft carried out certification of technical places and items of equipment of Society. Their classification is executed and filling is made by values of technical characteristics of the equipment and also are made start of a system of accounting of movements in places of operation and storage and start of a system of operational accounting of existence and production balance on the equipment in all places of operation, repair and storage.
At the second stage (January-February, 2012) the system of accounting of technical condition of the equipment according to messages about violations in work on the basis of directories of failures and violations and other clustering techniques and aggregation in the system of SAP was developed and implemented.
At the third stage (March-April, 2012) specialists Parma Telecom was development and start of a system of operational planning, acceptance and accounting of actual costs on TORO are made (on the basis of orders of TORO and purchase orders of services TORO).
At last, at the fourth final stage of the project (May-June, 2012) development and start of a system of annual scheduling of actions of TORO and control of technical condition of the equipment were executed.
Thus, in JSC Belkamneft four main business processes of TORO were implemented:
- Operational accounting of existence and movements of the oil-field equipment;
- Operational accounting of technical condition and violations in operation of the equipment;
- Operational planning of works on service and repair of the equipment;
- Annual planning of works of TORO in calendar and resource foreshortenings.
Ermakov Alexey, the deputy head of department of information technologies of JSC Belkamneft, noted: "Implementation of a new system allowed JSC Belkamneft to structure and formalize the main business processes of TORO - accounting of the equipment, planning of repairs, the cost accounting on repairs and maintenance. Also during the project reference books of the equipment were arranged and systematized".
In 2013 development of a system including integration of SAP into the automated control system for the enterprise (ACSE) is planned. In 2013 JSC Belkamneft plans continuation of works on development of the TORO system.
