On June 26, 2018 the Huawei company announced that the storage system like all-flash (AFA) OceanStor Dorado18000 V3 was certified for work with the platform of data SAP HANA. The OceanStor Dorado18000 V3 system supports up to 200 SAP HANA nodes. OceanStor Dorado18000 V3 is the flagman solution in a line of Huawei OceanStor Dorado V3 based on which the enterprises can create platforms of data processing in combination with SAP HANA. The storage system of OceanStor Dorado18000 V3 is developed for the high-loaded crucial service systems of the enterprises. Thanking a flash - the focused operating system the solution is capable to realize potential a flash memory. Patent the flash processors of Huawei and an algorithm FlashLink provide performance at the level of 7 million IOPS (input-output transactions) with permanent value of a delay of 0.5 ms. Performance of new model is twice higher, than at her predecessors. She uses HyperMetro technology in the active-active mode. Resources of storage of two objects in the active-active mode service the same applications that guarantees round-the-clock operation of key services. In storage system the Flash-Ice technology on the basis of graphene dispersion is used (graphene dissipation technology, GDT) and a dynamic algorithm of a heat balance (dynamic heat balance algorithm) on solid state drives (SSD). It allows to increase dispersion of heat by 500 times and to prolong service life of solid state drives for 20%. The storage system of OceanStor Dorado18000 V3 is suitable for key services of operator level, such as online billing in real time, CRM and ERP, thereby allowing to expand a subscriber base. A system supports the built-in data compaction (inline data reduction) without prejudice to performance and guarantees compaction ratio of data 3:1, thereby increasing performance ten times and helping clients to reduce investment volume and to increase their profitability (ROI). According to the results of real testing of functions of deduplication on the fly and compression (SmartDedupe & SmartCompression) of the Huawei OceanStor Dorado V3 system using popular scenarios of deployment of a DB of Oracle the coefficient of reduction of data 7.6:1 was reached that means saving 87% of space. On September 15, 2017 the companies Huawei also Hundsun Technologies provided all-flash- the solution for transaction processing acceleration.
Technologies as a part of the solution
