Roman Kadyrov, director of the department of IT infrastructure: Before we transferred our infrastructure to a cloud, it was very strongly distributed. For example, a part of the equipment of call center was directly in its territory, communication channels of the operator went through Moscow, and then were connected to the equipment in Tomsk. A part of a system for call center was taken out in DPC. In data center of IBS DataFort there was a CRM system. And the equipment which is responsible for availability of communication channels of regional divisions was located at head office. It led to the fact that failure of any element of infrastructure at head office did unavailable work of regional divisions[1].
The decision on transfer of infrastructure in DPC of the outsourcer was made in December, 2014. As usual happens in such cases, it was caused by the fact that business had new tasks which required the relevant decisions. We should implement 2 new platforms – Genesys for automation of work of call center and LuxBase (Collection CRM).
