Toshiba TBD62xxxA is a series of transistor matrixes.

2017: 11 devices of the TBD62xxxA series

On December 4, 2017 the Toshiba Electronics Europe company announced adding of 11 devices to the range of matrixes of transistors with output DMOP-transistors for management of tension and currents up to 50 V and 0.5 A.

These devices supplement a series from 37 TBD62xxxA devices. They are used for control of electric motors, relay, LEDs and creation of shift circuits of level for communication lines of management systems.

11 devices are provided by devices with high active level. An exit joins in them at the high level on an input. Configurations with an open drain of the device with low active level are suitable for creation of shift circuits of level for drive lines and communication of industrial equipment and household appliances.

Toshiba released the TBD62381A series with reduced energy consumption due to change of characteristics in comparison with the TBD62083A series. Matrixes of transistors of the next generation in the TBD62XXX series allow to reduce energy consumption by 40% in comparison with the TD62XXX series.

Devices are issued with exits of two types: with positive logic for switch mode power supplies and with negative logic for on-off control. The combination of exits to positive and negative logic can be used for dynamic management of light emitting diode matrixes.

A series includes devices in DIP body, the SOL body with a possibility of surface mount and the miniature SSOP body (a step of outputs of 0.65 mm) providing economy of space during creation of devices in the form of prefixes.

For December 4, 2017 deliveries of fact-finding samples began.

2016: TBD62783A MOS transistors with double diffusion

On March 3, 2016 the Toshiba Electronics Europe company provided modern generation of highly effective transistor matrixes of TBD62783A — devices with [1] and an exit from a positive [2].

The TBD62783A series will replace a series of matrixes of the bipolar transistors TD62783, will reduce power losses ~ by 40% and will find application in the field of, including drivers of LEDs.

In devices there is no current of base that allows to lower input currents. Thanks to a combination of high admissible current density when preserving the low resistance abroach DMOP-transistors increase efficiency and provide decrease in power losses.

All devices allow to manage high tension at big currents: absolute maximum values of output characteristics make 50 V / 0.5 A.

Devices are issued in the different body, including SOP18, DIP18 and SOL18 for surface mount and also SSOP18 (with a step of outputs of 0.65 mm) for use in limited space.

For achievement of a high integration scale in these devices the Toshiba company uses BiCD technology. This technology is positioned by the company as the main technology of the future for production of the analog ICs which are released on a standard production line using 8-inch semiconductor plates which are widely applied in the industry to serial production.
