Crimean republican universal scientific library to them. I.Ya. Franko, the Centralized Library Systems (CLS) – Yalta, Evpatoriysky and also TsBS of Krasnogvardeisky district transferred to a digital format nearly forty thousand pages of periodicals and literature on study of local lore.

Works in libraries of the peninsula were performed by ELAR corporation which specialists scanned documents, and on the basis of images created digital copies of editions in the PDF format with a possibility of context search.

E-books will be available to visitors of the Crimean libraries in electronic reading rooms and also on the Internet. "We digitized more than sixty rare editions of local history character, - the associate director on automation of the Crimean republican universal scientific library tells them. I.Ya. Franko Alexander Melnikov. – Readers of our library will be able to work with these documents in the electronic reading room". And Evpatoriysky TsBS thanks to the project of digitization provided to all judges of old times and local historians-researchers a possibility of free online reading the most interesting books published in the second half of XIX – the beginning of the XX century. "The copies which are selected for virtual demonstration to all reading world represent the books which were initially standing on shelves of Evpatoriysky city public library of a name of the Emperor Alexander II and also marked with possessory stamps and dedicatory inscriptions", - it is said on the TsBS portal. In addition to unique local history literature on Yevpatoriya, on the website of organization the book by N.A. Kotlyarevsky "Mikhail Yuryevich Lermontov is submitted. The identity of the poet and his work", left in 1905 in St. Petersburg. This rare book is the most valuable source of knowledge of the Russian poet and his creativity also today.

June 7, 2016. In the Crimean Republican library for youth books by young authors of the region are digitized. For this purpose ELAR corporation delivered the book scanner of ELARSKAN A2 in organization.

Now we are engaged in selection of texts, we sign agreements with their authors, and shortly electronic copies of editions will appear on our website.
