No. 3 GUSST at Federal Agency for Special Construction implemented project management virtualization infrastructure

On March 15, 2016 the herd is known of a hardware and software system implementation project for Head department of special construction across the territory of the Northwestern Federal District. The integrator Trinity company^[1].

Project Tasks

Initially IT infrastructure of Federal State Unitary Enterprise GUSST No. 3 was constructed by a traditional method: for each key application the separate server where information processed by it was also stored was selected. The task of creation of infrastructure of the environment of virtualization for effective management of projects which would guarantee fault tolerance and safety of data with a possibility of the organization of uniform access point was set for specialists of Trinity.

At the heart of the solution developed by Trinity company - reservation of the most critical components of a system by use of technology of a clustering. Protection of other data is executed using backup on disks and magnetic tapes.

Project Progress

The offered configuration is under construction on the platform of the equipment of IBM and the software of VMware Vsphere. For monitoring and backup one of servers to which the tape library is connected is selected. Access to storage system and a local network is organized by means of convergent network.

During the project the integrator delivered and started^[2]:

The starting (maximum) price of the tender is 7,048,560.20 rub.

Project Results

Implementing solution of Trinity company allowed us to increase considerably efficiency of infrastructure for project management and to ensure safety of crucial data and to facilitate further scaling of services. Vladimir Goryachev, head of information technology of GUSST No. 3
