Rostelecom will integrate divisions Bashneft Retail in VPN network

Rostelecom, based on an open tender, in March, 2016 signed the service provision agreement of communication and providing infocommunication services and services for all regional departments of Bashneft Retail company, the affiliated sales enterprise ANC "Bashneft", for a period of 3 years. The cost of the agreement was 217 million rubles.

Within the agreement connection and rendering a range of services in scales of the whole country is provided: Internet access for 610 points of gas stations and also the IP VPN organization for consolidation in a single corporate network of 97 points - dispatching offices, technology points and key gas stations "Bashneft Retail". Capacity of Internet channels from Rostelecom will make from 2 to 30 Mbps, for VPN - from 4 Mbps to 10 Gbps.

According to the director of work with corporate and state customers of Rostelecom company Sergey Kozerod, for the company such large-scale infrastructure projects as the project about Bashneft Retail allow to open technological capabilities of infrastructure. "Thanks to long-term experience in the field of communication services provision, wide geography of network and to use of modern communication channels, Rostelecom guarantees high quality and reliability of the provided services".

"Implementation of this project will allow to pass Bashneft Retail from ten providers to the uniform supplier of telecom services and it will significantly change quality of the services received by the TV set. So, very accurate SLA on service is stated in our agreement - it is strict requirements to the operator about the level of provision of services. For example, among requirements to communication channels according to which transfer of traffic in real time is performed: availability from 98% to 99.5%, a delay time – no more than 50 ms, losses of packets in 1 hour - no more than 0.5%", - he emphasized.
