2020: The agreement on use of the Russian electronic signature at electronic biddings of Kazakhstan

To domestic exporters there was well remote participation in biddings of UTS Commodity exchange – the Kazakh stock exchange. On October 5, 2020 the Taxcom company reported about it.

2014

Abolition of Committee and formation of the Agency

The communication agency and information is created in the Republic of Kazakhstan in compliance by the decree of the head of state "About Further Improvement of a System of Public Administration of the Republic of Kazakhstan", Akorda's press service told on March 7, 2014. The committee of communication, informatization and information is abolished.

"I decide to form communication agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan and information as the central executive body which is not a part of the government with transfer of functions and powers to it: in the field of communication, informatization, control of automation of public services and coordination of activity of service centers of the population from the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Republic of Kazakhstan; in the field of information, archiving and documentation from the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan", said in the text of the decree.

Besides, according to the decree, the Ministry of Culture and Information is transformed to the Ministry of Culture of RK.[1]

Tasks of Committee

The committee of communication, informatization and information is subordinated structure of the Ministry for Investments and Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Tasks of committee include:

  • implementation of state policy in the field of communication, mails, the state control, coordination and regulation of activity of the persons providing services in the field of communication, mails or using them;
  • implementation of state policy and regulation of activity in the field of informatization and "the electronic government";
  • implementation of state policy and regulation of activity in the field of information, TV and radio broadcasting;
  • security of information space within the competence set by the legislation.
