In the spring of 2016, telecom operator Дом.ru, in partnership with mobile operators in Russia, launched a pilot project for the provision of virtual mobile services (MVNO). The company plans to develop a business model in all 56 cities of presence. The new Quadro Play package offer will allow customers to significantly reduce their costs for the services they receive.
The launch of the project and the transition from the Triple Play model to Quadro Play are in line with the "Дом.ru" strategy, which involves growth both through fixed communication services and convergent. The formation of the new product was based on studies of user demand and price expectations. A uniform tariff policy in all cities of the company's presence, unified network building standards, business processes for the provision of services and billing, as well as a single center for monitoring the quality of services provided will allow the operator to easily replicate this project.
The pilot project was launched in March in Kirov, where the Дом.ru Mobile 1 tariff is available for connection. For a fixed fee, the client receives broadband Internet access, digital TV, as well as unlimited calls within the network of the partner operator throughout Russia, 300 minutes of calls to subscribers of other operators, 6GB of mobile Internet and 300 SMS. The total cost of a single package is 10-20% lower than with a separate payment for each of the communication services. The tariff is available to both new and current customers of the operator. The service will be offered in a package with traditional communication services and under the brand "Дом.ru."
