The Irkut corporation uses DeviceLock for protection against date leaks

The Irkut scientific and production corporation (Irkut corporation) in March, 2016 announced the implementing solution DeviceLock for ensuring due data protection.

The Irkut corporation is the vertically integrated enterprise providing a full stroke of works on design, tests, production, marketing, implementation and an after-sale service of the aircraft equipment of military and civil appointment. IT infrastructure of corporation provides itself the distributed multiservice environment, covers the central office and remote structural divisions, includes more than 1500 jobs.

Audit and assessment of a status of information security are carried out to the companies continuously using the specialized certified software on control of the level of security and degree of compliance to standards and requirements. In the state the specialists who had training in audit area on compliance of ISO 27001 work.

With software implementation of DeviceLock the Irkut corporation had an opportunity to limit and control use by workers of external drives of information, printers, wireless devices. Using the solution also content monitoring of the files and data transferred to external information media is conducted. Besides, as a result of implementation of DeviceLock requirements of state bodies of control for protection of different types of confidential information were observed.

On a response of the customer, the choice of software of DeviceLock was caused by experience with other software which producers declared possibilities of compatibility of the software products on control of use of the PCs external ports and also according to the results of market research of software with similar functionality. After successful conducting pilot software testing of DeviceLock in 2012 the decision on its purchase then own forces of division of cybersecurity of Irkut corporation with the assistance of integrator executed full-scale deployment and software configuration of DeviceLock with transfer of a system to commercial operation was made.
