2017: 8-socket server 7089P-TR4T
On October 21, 2017 company Super Micro Computer, Inc. announced release of the 8-socket server of a corporate class 7089P-TR4T.
7089P-TR4T supports eight processors Intel Xeon Scalable with three buses Intel Ultra Path Interconnect (UPI) on each CPU at 10.4 GT/with[1].
The server supports a clustering in composition of high-performance computing (NRS) or databases in memory by means of installation of DDR4 blocks with a capacity up to 12 TB, 41 NVMe devices (32 with a possibility of "hot" replacement), 23 PCI-E 3.0 cards or eight GP cards of double width.
The 8-nested server allows corporate users to expand databases and the applied systems in process of growth of requirements - from four processors to 6 TB memories in eight processors about 12 TB memories in uniform body 7U.
A system in a basic equipment is delivered with more than 40 built-in options RAS guaranteeing reliability, availability and security of corporate data. Supermicro offers 7089P-TR4T as the complete system solution.
7089P-TR4T was a part of a portfolio of multiprocessor (MR) solutions of the company.

On March 22, 2016 the Super Micro Computer company announced replenishment of a line of the SuperServer servers standard sizes 1U/2U/4U.
