Solaris 7980g - vertical photoscanner 7980g. It is focused on use in settlement points of sale, drugstores, epicures, shops of convenience goods.

On March 23, 2016 the Honeywell company announced[1] an output to the market of Russia[1].

The scanner is equipped with touch buttons, LED indicators. The compact sizes, modern design and powerful opportunities of image processing give the chance to use the device in settlement points of sale of different types.


Properties The photoscanner scans, both linear, and two-dimensional barcodes. The device can read out barcodes directly from screens of smartphones during the work with mobile coupons, digital purses and identity certificates.

The scanner uses white LED illumination and is compatible to the majority of point-of-sale terminals, is equipped with multifunction auxiliary port USB.

The possibility of multiplane scanning in combination with the increased depth of field and an advanced decoding algorithm helps cashiers to scan practically all standard barcodes from the first, irrespective of orientation of goods and printing quality of the code.
