"The safe house" it was connected to a TTK on optical fiber

On March 28, 2016 the macroregional branch "Verkhnevolzhsky" of TransTeleCom company (TTK-Nizhny Novgorod) announced a pilot project, joint with non-profit partnership of security of apartment houses (NP OBZhD) Bezopasny dom, on the organization of video surveillance in apartment houses of the city of Saransk, the capitals of the Republic of Mordovia[1].

Project Tasks

Within the agreement with NP OBZhD Bezopasny dom TTK-Nizhny Novgorod will provide inter-chip digital links for transfer to the monitoring center "Safe house" of data structure of video surveillance from the cameras installed at entrances of apartment houses of Saransk. The service is provided on the basis of a city fiber-optical access network TTK.

In Saransk not only traditional services broadband access, cable television and telephone communication, but also the different intellectual services creating the system of the "smart" city allow to give technical capabilities of branched infrastructure of a TTK to the population and the enterprises. Online video surveillance - one of them. We are glad to take part in the important social project which will ensure additional comfort and safety to our subscribers and all residents of Saransk. Today video surveillance is already organized in several multi-storey houses of the city.

Saransk will become one of the first cities of Volga region which residents will get free access to records of video surveillance. Within two years "The safe house" is going to install more than 1 thousand video cameras at entrances that will allow to cover about a third of apartment housing stock of the city. Without uninterrupted high-speed communication work of all monitoring system and transfer of videoarchives to the population and law enforcement agencies is impossible. We are grateful to a TTK for providing for our project of high-quality communication.
