Miratorg completed determination of zones of fertility

On March 30, 2016 SCANEX Group announced the project on identification of zones of fertility on the basis of space data for agro-industrial holding "Miratorg".

Project Results

In course of execution of works specialists of the contractor analyzed satellite pictures in three years covering agricultural grounds of holding. On the basis of data retrieveds, in particular - dynamic values of the vegetative NDVI index, the card of zones of fertility is prepared.

Data visualization and access to the card are implemented on the platform of Kosmosagro geoservice and the web GIS platform GeoMixer. The application created during the project helps to specify regulations of application of fertilizers for different zones of a field. The differentiated processing of fields fertilizers is executed by means of programming of agricultural machinery, a task of exact borders and volumes of application of fertilizers in specific sections of a field.

Use of technologies of remote sensing of Earth allows to select with the minimum time and finance costs fertility zones in each specific field and to adjust holding agrotechnical actions. Thus, we use exact values – how many it is required fertilizers for each specific section of a field instead of average values for all land array. The project on identification of zones of fertility was executed by our specialists in very short time. Thanks to application worked us in the system of Kosmosagro of a technique and to an array of the satellite data which are saved up since 2000, the card was created in the minimum fixed terms, accurate observance which it was caused by the planned seasonal works. Having obtained necessary information from "Miratorg", we carried out completions of our system and created the product solving specific applied objectives.
