Project Tasks

For ensuring efficiency of functioning of the company in 2014 the management of Avtodor-Engineering LLC made the decision on project management system implementation. Specialists of Proyektnaya PRAKTIKA Group were involved to the solution of this task.

Project Steps

As a basic system the software package PM Foresight allowing to automate processes of management of projects in the shortest possible time was selected. The basic version PM Foresight was finished taking into account needs of the customer. Based on execution of works, a system included the following Functional subsystems:

  • Project definition subsystem;
  • Project planning subsystem;
  • Subsystem of input of actual data on execution of projects;
  • Management subsystem instructions;
  • Subsystem of monitoring and reporting;
  • Subsystem of access to the project documentation;
  • Auxiliary subsystems:
  • Subsystem of notifications of users;
  • Subsystem of distribution of access rights;
  • Subsystem of maintaining normative reference information;
  • Integration subsystem with external systems.

In addition to an information system within implementation the following methodological materials were developed and tested:

  • methodical instructions on project planning
  • procedural process documentation of planning and control of projects with use of a system
  • normative and procedural process documentation of system implementation

The created system was expected more than 300 users, access rights and functions in a system were differentiated depending on category and a role of the user (the management, department of construction supervision, the administrator of the project, the resident engineer, the contractor, the system administrator). Specialists of Proyektnaya PRAKTIKA Group trained users in work in a system and also performed maintenance in them in practical work.

Project Effect

Results of system implementation:

  • Project participants of construction / reconstruction (Avtodor-Engineering, contract organizations) work in a common information space;
  • Representatives of contract organizations using a system confirm actual state on construction objects;
  • Avtodor-Engineering has up-to-date information about a current status of construction objects;
  • Conditions for technological, harmonious work of participants of process of construction supervision are created.
