Aeroflot purchased Veritas technologies for data protection

On April 5, 2016 the Comparex company announced delivering solutions of Veritas for protection of infrastructure of data storage of Aeroflot.

Project Tasks

The specifics of business of Aeroflot assume work with a large number of data. IT infrastructure of the company consists of a set of servers and storage systems of different producers and requires costs for administration and service of these systems. For performance improvement and cost reduction the IT management of Aeroflot made the decision on creation of a centralized system of data storage, without changing the operative equipment. It is taken into account and need of ensuring availability of services in case of accident in the main data center.

Project Progress

For the solution of assigned tasks specialists of the contractor proposed solutions of Veritas company. The products Veritas Infoscale help to increase performance of systems, to protect data at accident or failure, increase controllability data.

Project Results

Use of solutions of Veritas helped to provide data protection from failures and to integrate the equipment of different producers in a centralized system of storage and data management in IT structure of Aeroflot that will reduce costs for its service.
