The Department of Education of the Province of Tkhaynguyen purchased the license TrueConf Server

On April 6, 2016 the TrueConf company announced implementation of TrueConf Server in Department of Education and trainings Tkhaynguyen (Vietnam). Video conferences became replacement to real meetings, it helped to cut down transportation costs and to improve a financial status of the organization.

Project Tasks

The structure of Department of Education Tkhaynguyen includes nine branches in different corners of the Province of Tkhaynguyen. The department supervises work of 20 universities, 180 high schools and all centers of preschool education in the province.

Earlier the staff of department had to go to the main office on weekly meetings and the road took away several working hours — depending on placement of branch. The management of department decided to replace expensive trips with video conferences that employees could participate in meetings, without leaving the jobs and without distracting from accomplishment of job responsibilities.

Project Progress

System operation of the joint communications in the conditions of the low speed of the Internet of Vietnam - one of the main requirements of department. IT specialists tested work of popular services of a video conferencing — Skype, Hangouts and ooVoo. It became clear that cloud solutions do not provide communication quality at offices with the slow Internet.

According to the recommendation of HaproInfo company — the official partner of TrueConf in Vietnam — the management of Department of Education paid attention to the program server of a video conferencing TrueConf Server.

On a test stage the staff of department estimated high stability, simplicity of work and the friendly interface of client applications. After making decision on implementation specialists of HaproInfo unrolled TrueConf Server, integrating into the operating infrastructure of department.

Project Results

TrueConf Server is placed at the main office of Department of Education. The conference room of the organization is equipped with the terminal with the pre-installed client application TrueConf and also the PTZ camera and professional speakerphones. Webcams were provided to employees for participation in conferences on places and also client applications of TrueConf on workstations are installed.

It should be noted that the solutions TrueConf allowed our organization to save considerably time and means connected with business trips of employees. And it, in turn, improved a financial status of the company and allowed us to make more investments in IT infrastructure to conform to requirements of the state.
