InfiPLANNER - service of planning of wireless communication links.
On December 18, 2015 the InfiNet company announced release of the InfiPLANNER tool for replacement of the solutions PTP Link Estimator and Range Calculator.
It is the planning tool of tochka-tochka channels intended, according to developers, for users with any level of technical training - simplicity and convenience will help to estimate availability or range of work of a communication channel. The intuitive interface InfiPLANNER was specially developed to simplify interaction of the user with a system at all stages of work.
Using InfiPLANNER it is possible to estimate quickly availability or range of work of a communication channel, developers stated. The tool integrates in itself two modes of calculation of wireless communication links which can be abstract or geoattached:
- the first mode reproduces functionality of Range Calculator and allows to plan abstract wireless connections which have no binding to specific points on location yet.
- the second mode substitutes functionality of PTP Link Estimator and uses for calculation a combination of models of radio propagation of ITU-R P.530 and Longley-Rice taking into account average data on weather conditions around construction of a wireless communication link. InfiPLANNER allows to estimate connections both in the conditions of direct visibility (LoS), and at its absence (near-LoS).
