HGST SA-1000 is the object system of active archiving.
On April 15, 2016 the Western Digital Corporation declared availability of an object system of active archiving of HGST SA-1000.
The product is intended for digital data storage of mass media and show business, biological databanks and cloud backup. A system allows to begin with small volumes of object storage and can increase capacity by means of simple structural blocks in management. All systems of active archiving of HGST include program expansions, such as vertical and horizontal scaling, clustering and functionality of end-to-end security.
SA-1000 maintains geographical distribution on three data centers in single name space and the terabyte (TB) to the 28th petabyte (PB) of the general capacity has a scaling option from the 672nd. The flexibility in deployment for clients who want to begin storage with small volumes is provided and scale a system in process of growth.
Our long-term product strategy consists in implementation of flexible, scalable, capacious model which will be able to meet the growing demand for various options of cloud storages which was not covered earlier. We are glad to correspond to requests of clients and end users as object storages continue to develop violently in such accessible vertical markets as media, show business, biological researches and various cloud storages.
