In GSK Biomed Delta Electronics Ultron DPS UPSes are implemented

In April, 2016 the Delta Electronics company, producer of pulsed sources and solutions on uninterrupted power, announced implementation of uninterruptible power supply unit in GSK Biomed company. Project implementation was enabled together with integrator – Optima Group.

For replacement physically and the obsolete UPS engineers of GSK Biomed addressed to Optima Group which performs delivery and installation of the energy efficient equipment.

The customer stopped the choice on the Delta Ultron DPS model of 160-200 kVA. The solution performs continuous power supply and also provides back supply together with the diesel generator set. Ultron DPS is a three-phase industrial UPS of double conversion with the rectifier on bipolar transistors with an isolated gate (IGBT). The possibility of reservation according to the scheme N+X promotes reliability augmentation of a system, and the broad range of input voltage allows the three-phase UPS to work in networks with very unstable parameters.

Process of implementation took slightly more than 4 weeks: about a month preparation was performed, and installation and start as a part of network happened within several hours. At the same time the planned budget was not exceeded, and there were no deviations from the drawn-up plan for installation of the solution.
