DPC of BeCloud Republican Data Processing Center (RDPC)

Till 2018 services of the state ministries, departments and services will be postponed for capacities of the center. It is the second DPC in Belarus, but the first with the country status which is focused on requests of the state customers. The first data processing center was constructed by the state telecom operator Beltelekom and allowed to implement rules of law which require obligatory placement of servers of the Belarusian companies in the territory of the country^[1].

The total area of RDPC – 12 thousand sq.m. The land plot is located in borders of the settlement of Kolodishchi of the Minsk district. By the way, in the same area there is a construction of DPC of velcom company. Construction of the Republican data processing center lasted 8 months, now only the first stage of the center is put into operation. According to specialists of customer company – beCloud, – technological capabilities of the center will extend in process of increase in loading. Totally the RDPC is expected 624 server racks, now it is possible to set more than 140. As the director of beCloud Sergey Poblaguyev told, the current loading of RDPC makes slightly more than 30%. "118 thousand organizations of the country use systems located in RDPC already", – he emphasized. The top manager of the company did not begin to open the list of clients of RDPC, having noted that, except the state organizations, a number of business companies uses capacities of the center, turning on large mobile operator – MTS.

Designers and builders gave special attention to protection of an object. The center is equipped with a modern security system which includes tracking sensors in all territory, video surveillance and the systems of quick response to penetration. The part of the territory of RDPC adjoins to the protected state object – Beltelekom.

According to specialists, the RDPC is protected from any cataclysms, has own diesel generators for maintenance of independent operation for 72 hours. The fire extinguishing system is implemented Oststarservice using advanced technology of suppression by the gas structure of Novec 1230 3M. Capacity of the channel from RDPC to trunk the fiber-optic communication line – 1.2 Tb / with with perspective of expansion to 8 Tb / page.

2016

The BeCloud company (BeCloud trademark) announced in the spring of 2016 start of the Republican Data Processing Center (RDPC). It is the Belarus's first DPC conforming to the standard of fault tolerance of Tier III CNews^[2].

The DPC is constructed in Kolodishchakh - the suburban settlement of Minsk. Construction of DPC was conducted since May, 2015.

The RDPC will service the state and corporate clients. For work with state customers the equipment of Huawei, for service of corporate clients – the equipment of ZTE will be used.

Earlier BeCloud built the Republican Data Network (RDN). The network works on DWDM technology and consists of 12 cloud nodes in all regions of the country. RSPD is intended for service of republican and municipal authorities.

RSPD together with RDPC this network forms the Republican Cloud Platform (RCP). This platform provides storage and reservation of these clients, providing universal and convenient network access to software products, applications, services, storage systems and so forth.

On a meeting to the electronic government

ROP is especially relevant for state structures of Belarus: in the republic the electronic government actively develops, and by 2019 all from them should transfer the services to an electronic form. Within the BeCloud exhibition accounting of electronic invoices", implemented for the benefit of the Ministry of Taxes and Tax Collection showed the pilot version of the project "Automated information system ". By July 1, 2016 in Belarus a single digital system through which to expose to the companies electronic invoices will earn.

In return, BeCloud developed the special web portal which considerably will simplify and will facilitate process of exchange of necessary information between the organizations. For example, the user will be able to verify all necessary documentation, automatically to make calculations and to reveal errors in filling of obligatory forms of accounting of the VAT. The innovation will affect 130 thousand payers of the VAT – 30% of a total quantity of taxpayers in Belarus.

For corporate clients ROP will provide services in lease of cloud applicaions in the Software as the Service model (Saas). The SaaS model will provide to clients remote applications launch from computers and mobile devices via the web browser or special programs.

For example, BeCloud can ensure remote work with electronic marketplace, the system of operational data collection, departmental electronic archive, 1C: Accounting service. Also the company offers access to Microsoft Lync services (service of communication of corporate users, including voice and video calls) and Microsoft Exchange (the server for the organization of exchange of e-mails and joint work).
