2016: Head of FireEye

At the beginning of May, 2016 Kevin Mandia was appointed to a post of the CEO of the decision maker of the information security (IS) of FireEye. After this message of a stock of the company failed.

Kevin Mandia officially will become the CEO of FireEye on June 15, 2016, having replaced on this position of David DeWalt who headed the company since November, 2012.

David Deuolt will remain to FireEye as the executive chairman of the board of directors. As of May 9, 2016 market capitalization of FireEye makes $1.73 billion Deuolt was the president and the CEO of anti-virus company McAfee from 2007 to 2012.

At the time of appointment of FireEye as the head Kevin Mandia was the president of this company, and before he took positions of the senior vice president and operating officer.

At the beginning of May, 2016 FireEye also announced appointment of the former head of Symantec Enrique Salem the leading independent director. The president of Mandiant (the cybersecurity company founded by Kevin Mandia was sold to FireEye at the beginning of 2014 for $1 billion) Travis Reese held a similar post in FireEye, and the chief financial officer of FireEye Mike Berry became the new operating officer.

In day when FireEye provided the new CEO, stocks of the company which is the largest net developer of means of cyber security fell in price approximately for 19% up to $12.94, notes the Forbes edition.[1]
