2022: License Extension

The Russian the company, a SPIRIT software developer servers for videoconferences VideoMost with client applications on PCs and mobile devices, on March 2, 2022 announced an expansion for the licenses use of VideoMost in the Administration of Ho Chi Minh City,. Vietnam

The Ho Chi Mini City (HCMC) Information and Communication Technology Institute (Ho Chi Minh City Institute) has been using VideoMost to provide daily communications on VKS in the Ho Chi Minh City Administration for 5 years, starting in 2016. In 2018, the license was expanded both in the number of simultaneous connections to the server and in the number of jobs with VKS on PCs and mobile devices. A VideoMost server can be installed inside an organization's IT infrastructure and work offline without Internet connectivity, while providing high-quality video communications for each employee within the organization at their workplace.

However, the trend towards a remote and hybrid format of most organizations, including government institutions and agencies, led the Ho Chi Minh City Administration to decide to deploy an additional cluster to connect remote staff to the daily communications process and working groups over the Internet. And even in such an implementation scenario, VideoMost guarantees the preservation of user data and important information, unlike cloud services. An additional cluster with a server VideoMost deployed inside the Ho Chi Minh City Administration's own data center and is under the full control of the organization's employees without the possibility of access to it by unauthorized persons.

"In the context of a limited budget and high requirements for the quality and functionality of the video conferencing system, we found the optimal solution by choosing a VideoMost that fully met our expectations. We managed to avoid additional costs for terminals and infrastructure, which would be inevitable if we chose a hardware solution. In addition, we have complete control over local implementation, which is impossible when using cloud services. Immediately after the launch of the VideoMost service, we noted a significant increase in the efficiency of the collaboration of our employees, which continues to increase constantly, "comments Vo Hoang Son, head of the project management department of the Institute of Information and Communication Technologies of Ho Chi Minh City.

In addition, each videoconference session can be recorded, stored and replayed in case any controversial issues arise in the future, which is especially relevant when making decisions of state importance.
