The TEGRUS company booked audit of IT infrastructure of TsNTIB of the Russian Railway

The TEGRUS company carried out in 2016 IT audit in the Center of scientific and technical information and libraries (TsNTIB) - Russian Railways branch of joint-stock company during which information on a current status of IT infrastructure of the Center, cost of its ownership and compliance to the current and perspective requirements was collected. Detailed development plans for IT are drawn up.

Project Objectives

Obtaining reliable information about a current status of IT infrastructure and determination of the main directions of development, according to development plans for separate divisions and all organization.

Course of accomplishment and result

In the course of audit the detailed description of a current status of IT infrastructure was made, including, computer engineering means, the server park, network infrastructure, the periphery and KMT. The main characteristics, such as performance, loading, wear, amounts and flows of printing, etc. are defined. Value assessment of ownership of IT infrastructure and degree of its compliance to the current business requirements is given.

Scenarios of development of IT infrastructure depending on a macroeconomic situation and budget and investment the politician of JSC "Russian Railways" are developed. The list of perspective business requirements in different planning horizons is made, problem points and options of reduction of the current situation in IT to compliance to the current and perspective business requirements are specified. Target indicators for the subsequent design and upgrade of IT infrastructure are defined.
