OAK looks for the developer of the firewall for the latest Russian airplanes

In May, 2016 "the OAK-center of integration" (child structure of OAK)^[1] for development and delivery of the software for the firewall of airplanes of the MS-21 project - passenger aircrafts of new generation announced request for proposals. The maximum price of the agreement with the supplier is 39.5 million rubles. The offer arrived only from one organization - SEZ of Sergo Ordzhonikidze with which the contract was signed.

Software as a part of the firewall should perform such functions as switching of information communication lines, distribution of information flows of the loader of data,the firewall for resource protection of ADN network (Aircraft Data Network, an airplane data network) and also service functions.

As the firewall a system should provide protection of information resources own and a vehicle network of ADN from such threats as not finishing, loss, loss of messages or their inadmissible delay, bringing information to the receiver with not revealed distortion or substitution of the message.

Also a system should prevent acquaintance of the malefactor with contents of messages, repeated transmission of messages, readdressing of the message and transfer of false information.

Also should support by software network identification on the onboard switched duplex Ethernet network by means of a set of entrance single commands, provide unloading of files of a log of the firewall on the external carrier, support operational change of tables of a configuration of the switch and loader.

The contractor will have to complete development till July 31, 2017.
