The LWCOM system integrator implemented the project on an architectural concept of the organization of network for Sang company - one of distributors of goods of household chemicals in Russia. The developed branch network, the impressive number of warehouse spaces and big staff became pacing factors which defined need to use modern, failsafe and productive communication systems and communications.
Within project implementation the following tasks were solved:
- upgrade of network equipment at the central office;
- ensuring failsafe connection to the Internet;
- ensuring control of interaction with the Internet;
- upgrade of the scheme of the organization of a branch network.
Project implementation took 3 months during which joint work of engineers of LWCOM and a team of the customer was conducted. For the solution of the standing tasks it was offered to use the equipment Cisco: the LWCOM company is the partner prime minister of vendor and has the highest level of competences on implementing solutions and the equipment Cisco in the most different projects.
As a result of project implementation upgrade of network at the central office due to replacement of the outdated switch of a core of network by two new Cisco switches WS-C3850 which have advanced functionality of routing was carried out and provide communication between segments of a local network, and also connection of branches and the Internet to resources at the central office.
Connection to the Internet was organized using two CISCO2951 routers with the activated dynamic routing protocol BGP and announcement of the autonomous system through 2 telecom operators. Thus the problem of failsafe connection and balancing of traffic flows of two data transmission channels was solved.
Control and protection of network edge it was provided with two Cisco ASA5525 firewalls united in failsafe pair. Expanded access control of users to the Internet was organized using software modules of Cisco FirePower based on Cisco ASA. Authentication of users in problems of expanded control and VPN of connections of remote access was configured using the data obtained from the corporate directory.
The updated scheme filial networks was organized on Cisco DMVPN technology which provides the protected and failsafe connection of remote offices to the center and balancing of traffic flows in interaction of branches as with the center, and among themselves.
