Medasense Biometrics — the Israeli developer of the devices used for objective noninvasive monitoring of pain in an organism. Devices indicate pain, helping doctors when patients, for example, are under anesthesia or cannot objectively estimate pain in these or those places.

2016: Investments

In May, 2016 Medasense Biometrics announced completion of the transaction on the investment attraction in which the Baxter Ventures fund belonging to pharmaceutical company Baxter International took part. The volume of investments in the Israeli startup does not reveal.

The developer of the equipment for assessment of pain of Medasense attracted investments

The managing director of Baxter Ventures Anne Sissel says that the innovation approach of Medasense to development of technologies of objective assessment of pain and strong team of heads made this company attractive to investments.

In March, 2016 Medasense attracted $8 million from group of investors which entered Benslie International company, the unnamed developer of world-class medical technologies and several private investors.[1]
