Tulslogistik implemented "1C: WMS" and "Axelot: ESB"

On May 23, 2016 the Axelot company announced implementation of software "1C: WMS" and "to Axelot: ESB" in the warehouse "Tulslogistik".

Project Goals and Objectives

It was necessary to create the fast, managed, transparent process of work in a warehouse in terms of use of address storage on high-rise racks. Accounting of goods in real time, the regrading exception, performance improvement of work of a warehouse at least for 30% were important tasks. Also it was required to provide tracking of accomplishment of orders in real time, to provide transparency of a remaining balance of goods and a possibility of their defragmentation for increase in density of storage, to arrange and standardize warehouse processes, to minimize dependence on qualification of warehouse personnel.

Project Progress

The Axelot company, the 1C: WMS developer was engaged in project implementation. Within the WMS project it was integrated with a corporate information system of the client – "1C: Trade Management". As the instrument of integration the software solution "was used by Axelot: ESB Service data bus". Integration of systems allowed to adjust the stable and centralized data exchange: information on existence and the status of goods in a warehouse became available to trade and financial divisions and also company management in real time that extremely important when planning trade operations.

Project Results

Implementation of WMS allowed to reveal quickly the mistakes made by employees at execution of operations of acceptance and selection of goods. The dependence on qualification of personnel decreased: in the storage area of spare parts any employees as now it is not necessary to remember arrangement of goods and specifications of sets can work. Training of new personnel happens quickly.

Thanks to implementation of address storage the speed of selection of orders is increased, there was an opportunity to trace in the online mode of a stage of readiness of the order and shipment.
