2016: Scandal with rollbacks

In May, 2016 it became known that the former manual therapist Alexander Dimeo from New Jersey (USA) can go to prison for bribes from other doctors for the direction of patients in their medical institutions.

Alexander Dimeo admitted the guilt in receiving rollbacks from owners of private clinics, the centers of diagnostic imaging and other medical institutions where he hiropraktik directed the patients to inspection or treatment. During the period from 2009 to 2015 it earned $254 thousand from this activity. For example, in the MRT-centers the last transferred for the direction to Dimeo about $27 thousand.

Alexander Dimeo owns the real estate in the cities of Badd Leyk (State of New Jersey) and the Fort Myers (State of Florida). He earned from rollbacks, working in the Passeyikovsky center of chiropractic and therapy (Passaic Chiropractic & Therapy Center), before retirement in 2015.

61-year-old Alexander Dimeo was recognized in numerous episodes in which, in particular, took place collusion, bribery and money muling. Now it is threatened up to seven years of imprisonment and also by payment of a penalty in the amount of $250 thousand and taxes provided by the State of New Jersey. The sentence will be pronounced on August 22, 2016.

Alexander Dimeo became one of a number of medical specialists who were arrested for bribes within the so-called transaction RayScam which there began law enforcement agencies as a result of legal investigation of rollbacks to the center of medical diagnostics under control of a certain Rekhan Zubury.

In May, 2015 Zubury was recognized that he paid other doctors millions of dollars for the directions of patients in his clinics. By the beginning of June, 2016 Rekhan Zubury expects a sentence, as well as Dimeo who, by the way, received rollbacks from the medical centers belonging to Zubury. The prosecutor requested 10 years of prison for Zubury.[1]
