What is applied by the government of the Penza region for creation of the investment climate

On June 7, 2016 Tele2 company announced agreement signature with the government of the Penza region about interaction in the field of development of communication services.

During 2016 the operator planned more than 440 million rubles investments into development of telecommunication infrastructure of the region.

In the document foundations for interaction of the operator and the government of the region in the field of development of telecommunication infrastructure, increase in investments into area economy are defined. In particular, the parties assume to implement joint federal and regional target programs, investment projects, to solve a number of problems in the field of security and environmental protection.

The agreement between Tele2 and the government of the region is signed for five years. In 2016 the forecast investment volume of the operator into economy of the Penza region will be more than 440 million rubles.

In the Penza region Tele2 works slightly less than a year, and during this time we provided with high-quality and inexpensive mobile communication 90% of the population of the region. Networks of the high-speed mobile Internet Tele2 cover the territory in which 820 thousand people live. We pin great expectations on the policy of the regional authorities aimed at the development of the telecom industry. It is sure that implementation of a package of measures, specified in the agreement, will allow us not only to satisfy fast-growing needs of the population for qualitative and inexpensive communication services, but also will promote increase in the overall level of life in the Penza region.
