For a long time applies technologies of multidimensional modeling to design of new hydropower and water management constructions of JSC Gidroproyekt Institute, the project information model (IM) of a construction was result of what still. Besides, at the moment all RusHydro group owns more than 70 the operating objects of renewable power which information models are not created. However for problems of operation and also reconstruction and upgrade of the existing objects the value of an information model is highest as with its help it is possible to reach essential resource optimization.

For the purpose of development of project model in construction and operational together with JSC NEOLANT the pilot project based on the Volga hydroelectric power station within which using InterBridge, the tool for formation of uniform IM, the model was "submerged" in the IT environment of NEOSINTEZ – the platform for management of lifecycle of an industrial facility was implemented. As a result the digital prototype of the Volga hydroelectric power station began to have the functionality necessary for the solution of applied tasks of construction, reconstruction and operation, and value from such multidimensional model for the direct owner, i.e. RusHydro, increased many times. At the exit became possible to reach the following effects:

  • increase controllability, transparency and predictability of production processes at all stages of lifecycle of an object;
  • improve quality of the made decisions due to full and timely information and technology support;
  • provide integrity (an exception of organizational, functional, information, financial gaps) and coordination of information flows between different engineering disciplines, contractors and stages of lifecycle;
  • increase culture and quality of operation of an asset due to centralization and consolidation of technical information of the enterprise, reduction of time for identification and elimination of defects, accomplishment of complex repair work.
