On June 8, 2016 it became known of signing of the contract between Rostelecom and PepsiCo Holdings LLC (a brand of PepsiCo) for the organization of VPN network in the territory of Russia, providing the international communication channels[1].
Project Tasks
According to the contract, Rostelecom it is necessary to integrate VPN network about 100 objects of customer company in all subjects of the Russian Federation among which there are plants and productions as a part of PepsiCo Group, regional representative offices. The planned network transmission capacity from 2 Mbit / c up to 1 Gbit / c.
Among requirements to communication channels:
- availability of 99.7%,
- delay time – no more than 75 ms,
- losses of packets in 1 hour – no more than 0.25%.
The operator will also provide telecommunication services and to conduct the round-the-clock monitoring of quality.
