Content

On June 6, 2016 the AXELOT company announced automation of a warehouse of Mebel-Kit company software implementation "1C: WMS Logistics. Warehouse Management 4.0"[1].

Project Tasks

The decision on automation of a warehouse situated near Moscow of the company is made for elimination of a complex of problems regarding warehouse processing of furniture products. Use of the 1C: Enterprise platform and available cost were pacing factors for the choice of the software product, in addition to functional compliance to assigned tasks, also. For implementation selected the 1C: WMS Logistics. Warehouse Management 4.0 system, the contractor of the project AXELOT company.

The area of a warehouse is 4000 m ². Range of trade inventories ~ 6 thousand active names.

Project Progress

Clear mechanisms of inventory of cells, control of selection processes and order processing according to their statuses are implemented

Warehouse cargo processing of furniture requires specific implementation. The main feature is that each commodity unit represents a set from several packagings differing on mass and dimensional to characteristics. Therefore in a warehouse account and cargo processing by components of sets is kept (for example, different parts are stored in different cells: table legs – in one cell, a table-top – in another) while the corporate system ("1C: Trade Management") and an accounting system consider in work a set as a unit.

Project tasks included creation of mechanisms of address accounting and storage according to features of goods. It was required:

  • ensure transparent functioning in a warehouse,
  • reduce dependence of a warehouse on knowledge of employees,
  • organize accounting on batches
  • develop an algorithm of simple process of reconciliation of a remaining balance of a warehouse with data of a corporate system, having taken into account specifics of storage of furniture products, for example, interchangeability of components between different goods.

Convenient and clear mechanisms of inventory of cells, control of selection processes and order processing according to their statuses were required for the customer. In addition - accounting of characteristics of packagings of Inventories (dimensions, stacking height, etc.).

Project Results

With implementation of "1C: WMS" in a warehouse of the company address storage of goods taking into account features of work of a furniture warehouse is organized.

Address storage simplified and considerably accelerated assembly of orders. Account of goods on batches and characteristics is kept, process of reconciliation of a remaining balance became significantly simpler and is more transparent. The warehouse works uninterruptedly, WMS manages a warehouse in real time.
