Description of an automation object

JSC Kemerovokhleb is the largest producer of bread, bakery, confectionery, macaroni products in Western Siberia. The central office is located in Kemerovo, the capital of Kuzbass, five plants – in the city and its neighborhoods. In essence, "Kemerovokhleb" represents holding which part of the enterprises applies a simplified tax system. In addition to production, joint stock company performs wholesale by own products, including in cash. It caused need of use of cash registers. In total in JSC Kemerovokhleb about 1500 people work.

Software Selection

Up to 2002 for problems of accounting and needs of accounting the programs written by the staff of IT service JSC Kemerovokhleb and functioning under control of DOS were used. Unfortunately, it is software did not allow to work it is centralized, for obtaining the consolidated statements data integrated almost manually. As a result the management of the enterprise set the task to refuse work with separate modules and to pass to a single system of external development. The flexibility, possibility of setup by own forces, without involvement of the developer was one of the main selection terms of software.

In selection process software products of a trademark of 1C were considered. But tests showed that they do not provide necessary high-speed performance. Therefore at the end of 2001 a choice was made for benefit of the ERP system of "ORACLE ELITE COMPASS".

From an interview of the leading programmer of JSC Quemerovokhleb Alexander Shmelyov: ... As our document flow is quite big, it was impossible to put 1C. At deployment of 20 jobs it does not cope with such document flow any more. We tried – very heavy load turns out. Decided that the product based on a strong relational database is necessary... General Description of the Project

Control automation of JSC Kemerovokhleb was carried out step by step with gradual replacement of software operated earlier. Implementation was performed by forces of the working group consisting of consultants of the Kemerovo partner of KOMPAS company, STC of Infotron, and the staff of IT service of the Customer.

At the first stage which began in March, 2002 and borrowed about 6 months accounting of raw materials and materials using a subsystem "the COMPASS was automated: Purchase management, stocks and sales". At the second stage on the basis of the corresponding subsystem of the COMPASS ERP complex there was completely an automated management of finance: accounting of cash flow (including connection with the system of Client-Bank is established), settlings with advance holders, settlings with suppliers, settlings with buyers and customers, etc.

Further by implementation of a subsystem "the COMPASS: Fixed assets" fixed asset accounting was automated, various accrual methods of accounting and tax depreciation are configured (taking into account a run, a linear method, charge on the amount of years of a useful life). At the fourth stage control functions by personnel, including calculation of the price-work salary with execution of orders, delivery of the electronic reporting in PF and FTS and salary transfer on cash cards are completely automated.

At the fifth stage automation of tax accounting according to PBU-18/02 is carried out, and in a number of small enterprises of the company the module "the COMPASS is implemented: Simplified tax system". Accumulation of functionality and quantity of the jobs automated using the ERP system of "ORACLE ELITE COMPASS" continues constantly in process of growth of requirements of JSC Kemerovokhleb. At the moment automation of service of an expedition, planning department and marketing department begins.

Some Specific Features of the Project

  • As the project was executed step by step, with gradual migration on the ERP system "COMPASS" from the programs used earlier, on the first project implementation phases the COMPASS system was used for creation of the consolidated statements according to the data collected from diverse software environment. The mechanism of import of data from files of a dbf-format to Oracle DBMS which is built in "COMPASS" was for this purpose involved.
  • In the course of implementation of a subsystem "COMPASS: Purchase management, stocks and sales" consultants of STC of Infotron configured a broad spectrum of the new report forms considering specifics of the enterprise using "The master of reports".
  • For the purpose of the organization of process of cash trade the staff of IT service of the Customer configured communication of a subsystem "the COMPASS: Purchase management, stocks and sales" with system Stroke CRs.
  • A number of non-standard business procedures was developed for automation of a wholesale warehouse by production department of KOMPAS company.
  • Because a part of the legal entities entering into joint stock company uses a simplified tax system, for the purpose of management of finance not only major version of the subsystem of the same name, but also the module "the COMPASS is used: Simplified tax system". At the same time the release of the consolidated management reporting on all enterprises of holding is configured.
  • In implementation process of the project calculation of a piece-work pay taking into account the Individual Performance Factor (IPF) was automated.
  • Calculation of "the 13th salary" is configured automatic.
  • Automatic calculation of a length of service is configured.
  • For support of the payment system admitted to JSC Kemerovokhleb automatic salary transfer on cash cards of employees is organized.
