"The May Day concentrated milk plant" optimized planning of the product delivery

On June 9, 2016 the ABM Cloud company reported the project of optimization of a system of an order delivery of "May Day concentrated milk plant". Product of implementation ABM Rinkai TMS.

Project Tasks

("PMKK") the technology of operational planning of routes during the day was required for "May Day concentrated milk plant". The operating tracking system did not arrange management with lack of an option of comparison of the plan and the fact of accomplishment of routes. This function is extremely important as the enterprise in the course of productions and delivery of dairy products should consider factors:

• short storage life of products - delivery should happen as fast as possible;
• orders arrive unstably - it is necessary to plan dynamic routes daily;
• it is necessary to use narrow temporary windows.

Project Progress

TOP MANAGEMENT of the company made a choice for benefit of a cloud solution of ABM Rinkai TMS, it helps to plan optimum ring delivery routes and to reduce transportation costs.

Project Results

Together with use of ABM Rinkai TMS and a start of motion of the CU along the routes planned by ABM Rinkai TMS, the customer noted considerable improvements in a part of the product delivery.

Planning of routes is automated, the probability of human errors is excluded. Management received control over the implementation of routes and access to analytics that influenced decision making. The customer loyalty with increase in the quality level of delivery increased that was promoted by service of the message with the exact time of arrival of the order.

Effects of implementation of the program for logistics:

• expenses on the product delivery are cut down for 12%;
• the number of cars for the product delivery decreased by 13.5%;
• the number of delay decreased by 25%;
• excessive vehicle mileage and inappropriate use decreased by 8%.
